good read-thanx for the post.

do u think the brother (last sentence) meant anything with the "highly educated,but had soul" - like they're usually mutually exclusive?

I think he was trying to counter Dylans Character ism of him as a stuffy intellectual.

Perhaps it is the perception. Probably the highly educated are 'full of soul' but do not know how, or are embarrased, to let it show, so they tend to hide it.

I suspect I improperly used commas
